is a Scottish photographer and filmmaker from Glasgow. He took up took up photography as a way to vent creative frustrations when film projects would fray, but soon after he really began to adore the medium as he was able to focus intently on a single frame. The challenge to provoke thought without the luxury of having 24 images per second was one he relished. That said, his heart will always lie with cinema. Creating interesting visuals is my greatest passion and one he has had from a very young age. His films often focus on psychological disarray or the abstruse side of sexual perversion and he believes aspects of this seeps into his photography resulting in his work often being quite dark, but in a more implicit way. The vast majority of his images have quite a cinematic feel through his consistent use of light, shadows and colour. He has always found it interesting to create a visual cast in shadows and has colour bleed through it or to create a bright and colourful image with an offbeat focal point but with something foreboding beneath the skin.
