David Lynch’s Hair

San Francisco artist Jimmy Chen shows us when art and artist become one in his grid series titled, The Painting. The grid puts Monet’s Water Lilies side by side with a perfectly groomed lynchian bouffant, or perhaps Van Gogh’s Starry Night can be likened to a silvery shock of hair. Chen explores the impact of hair and art, their similarity in form, and their importance in our cultures, no matter the time.

If you want to know more the art director, check the tumblr of Jimmy Chen here.
