is a France based painter, born and raised in Costa Rica on 1984. Very young he begins the interest for art, taking the first drawing class at the age of 8. In 2002 he starts studies at the School of Fine Arts in the University of Costa Rica where he explores ceramics, printmaker, sculpture, mainly painting, drawing and history of art getting honourable mention for the final thesis report: “The essence of nothingness” in 2009. His art work looks for the essential of human being, inherent characteristics of existence and the contrast of life. Making a game between lights and shadows, black and white, finished and unfinished compositions which also means a game between life and death, all and nothing, being or not being. After some collective and solo shows in Costa Rica he moved to Marseille, France, where actually lives and works.
