is a freelance creative illustrator, working and living in Vilnius, Lithuania. He has finished his studies at the Fine Arts Academy in Vilnius (2011) then he began working in creative industries such as advertisement, animation and graphic design. In 2013 he really took a focus to illustration and so commenced by career as a freelance illustrator.
Now Japan 2014 Festival in Lithuania has commissioned illustrator Karolis Strautniekas for a promotional spot of the event. For the animation, the client wanted minimal and attractive illustrations which work like cliches of the Japanese culture. A production Wowbüro, to discover.
