Born in Poland, and raised in New York, photographer Kava Gorna’s work speaks to contemporary sexuality in photography. With a strong affinity to Paris and the distinctly French culture of sexuality and beauty, Kava has split her time between New York, LA and trips to France. Known for her raw and evocative portrayal of girls, cars and flowers, Kava produces a visually playful dialogue of a youth empowered through self-liberation.
Kava has contributed to publications such as i-D Magazine, The Journal, Nowness, Nylon, Self Service, T (The New York Times Style), Teen Vogue, Vogue, and WSJ. She has worked with clients such as Calvin Klein, Coach, Earnest Sewn, J. Crew, Steven Alan, Sony BMG, Supreme and Urban Outfitters, among others.
