is a personal photo project by London and Budapest based fashion photographer Wanda Martin who is photographing couples of all genders and sexualities in their closest and most intimate quarters: bed.
“In this personal project my aim is to explore the nature of sexual fluidity and show the similarity between different kind of (heterosexual and homosexual) relationships through photographing couples of our contemporary youth culture. I started my project from the point of view of Gender Studies and also I keep researching and discovering the key themes of my interest as the questions of subcultures, youth culture, gender, androgyny, sexuality and love: ‘identity as a construction’, concept of bricollage in our post modern age (both sexual and subcultural identity) In my project I try to celebrate Love par excellence and show that love and sexuality doesn’t depends on sex or gender, only on persons. In my photography project I’m shooting couples in their own rooms, in their private zone. The project is still ongoing and keeps trying to investigate the nature of sexuality, love and identity.”
