Madame Peripetie

is Sylwana Zybura, a Polish photographer and creative director based in London. She shows you a different world. Reality is a stranger to her. Dadaist mythical creatures in many different colors. She studied at University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, Germany. She approaches her subjects with an off-kilter aesthetic that evokes Man Ray’s photography and films like Luis Bunuel’s Un Chien Andalou (the infamous 1929 Surrealist movie where a woman’s eye is slit with a razor). Her models are often embellished with technicolor props designed to look like extraterrestrial armor.
