Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich

is a brilliant collaboration with photographer Sandro Miller and John Malkovich. The series of images, which are not Photoshopped at all, pay homage to the great artists and photographers throughout history that have left an impression on Miller with their seminal work.

Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich honors photographs that have impacted Sandro. Pieces include Irving Penn’s photograph of Truman Capote in a corner; Bert Stern’s photographs of Marilyn Monroe; Dorothea Lange’s image of a migrant mother; Robert Mapplethorpe’s self-portrait with a gun; Annie Leibovitz’s iconic image of John Lennon and Yoko Ono; Richard Avedon’s beekeeper, among many others.’

These photos and more are part of an exhibit titled Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters. They’re going to be on display at the Catherine Edelman Gallery in Chicago from November 7th through January 31, 2015.
