Manuel Estheim

is an Austrian fine art photographer based in Linz, Austria.

His work is a visual representation of what it means to tell dozens of completely individual stories while maintaining a voice that is uniquely one’s own. At the same time, each of his photographs are universal and provide the viewer with narrow glimpses into the dephts of the human condition. Common in his work is a nature setting and the dark woods paint the allegory for man’s search for meaning. The use of nudity in dark environments boils the subject down to a primal level, a shape identifiable simply as mankind. By playing with the elements, and breaking the rules of reality, the viewer or the reader is caught unexpectedly in a new paradigm, while still given an expanse of space to contemplate the world in a new height.

I just want to say that I love your blog, like really adore your blog! I’m a teacher to be, next year I graduate as a high school teacher in English and Arts. For the Arts subject we don’t really make ‘lesson plans’ as we do in English, we make workshops. Workshops about certain styles of art, or maybe about certain artists themselves. I made one about Manuel Estheim after I saw him on your blog here, I can’t tell you how much they loved it in school. Thank you for giving us so much new and fresh information! Keep up the good work, I check your blog every day. Lots of love, Alex
