is an underwear brand created by Clara Ropero and Ana Alemany. With a conceptual approach to women’s intimate uniform, the designers create simple and delicate pieces. Simple cuts and silhouettes emphasise functionality over superfluous embellishment. However, as the designers admit, those undergarments appeal to a strong woman who wishes to express her individuality.
This is the first campaign of The Nude Label. The editorial focuses on the garment and draws attention to the materials and details. The abstract and strong images were shot by German photographer Lena C. Emery who grew up in Singapore and moved to Paris in 2002 to study Fine Arts at Parsons The New School for Design. From 2008 until 2011, while based in Berlin, Emery worked as graphic and print designer for different international high fashion brands until dedicating herself fully to her photographic work and moving to London in 2012. Since then Emery has collaborated with clients such as Helmut Lang, Nike and COS. Her photographs have been featured in Harper´s Bazaar (UK), The Gentlewoman, i-D and Wallpaper*. Emery is currently dividing her time between London and New York.
