is a German painter who is dedicated to her chosen medium. Her work skillfully negotiates the ideas of camouflage and illusion, as well as appearance and non-appearance. She received her Master of Fine Arts from the Düsseldorf Art Academy while studying under Professor Markus Lüpertz from 1988 -1994. Dehne later lived in Berlin, and after her second solo exhibition there in 1999 at Galerie Kubinski, moved to New York. She currently lives and works in the Catskills.
