Plastic Bag Landscapes

by Norwegian artist Vilde J. Rolfsen. Rolfsen was born in Oslo, Norway and now she lives and studies Photography at Kingston University in London. She turns trash into treasure in her efforts to “make plastic bags look magical.” Illuminating the delicate creases of ordinary plastic bags, Vilde creates vibrant, abstract images that evoke mountainous terrains, cresting waves, and frigid caves.

More about the London-based artist and her works here.
