is a self-taught artist and musician, living in Austin Texas. In this new series, he has simplified his figures more than ever before, in an attempt to focus on line, as well as the emotions depicted. All of the paintings deal with the inevitability of death and the uncertainty of the afterlife. He uses color and the velvety nature of the paint to add a touch of beauty and contradiction to an otherwise tragic moment.
